Maes Garmon Farm

Maes Garmon Farm is situated just under two miles from the market town of Mold, in a rural location surrounded by fields. Public transport is not available to the bed and breakfast, however the nearest bus station is five minutes away in Mold and there is a railway station in Flint approx. 15 minutes drive. There are taxi firms locally, for which we can provide contact details.

The bed and breakfast is approached along a single track country lane and gravelled driveway to a mainly level gravelled off-road parking area approx. 10 metres away from the main entrance to the bed and breakfast. Assistance is offered with luggage.

The accommodation is over two floors.

On the ground floor is the reception/open plan sitting room/dining area:

• Step up 200mm with 750mm door width.
• Carpetted throughout.
• Sitting area with two two-seater sofas and a wood burning stove.
• Dining area with wooden tables and chairs, able to seat up to six guests.

Two bedrooms are above the sitting room and approached via a single carpetted flight of stairs (12 in total) which has a wooden banister to one side:

• Wooden floored landing with low exposed beam.
• Entrance to bedrooms of 640mm door width.
• Both bedrooms have kingsize beds with non-feather duvets and pillows.
• Remote control TV/DVD combi and Sky Freeview.
• Bedside lights are touch-sensitive.

• Penycloddiau en-suite has a pivot shower door with shower base of 1100x900mm size.
• Moel Y Parc en-suite has an inslide shower door with shower base of 900x760mm size.
• Both rooms have toilet height 450mm and one room a basin height of 900mm and the other 840mm.

The third bedroom, Moel Yr Accre, is approached via three steps down from the sitting room through a doorway of 780mm width and up a single carpetted flight of stairs (13 in total) with wooden rail on left:

• Entrance to bedroom of 750mm door width.
• Bedroom has super-kingsize bed with non-feather duvets and pillows.
• Remote control TV/DVD combi and Sky Freeview.
• Bedside lights are touch-sensitive.
• En-suite is via a low doorway of height 1250mm and has a walk-in shower with shower base of 1400x800mm size.


Menus are available in the room information pack. These can be provided in large print if required. Breakfast options are verbally explained in the morning prior to taking orders.
