Every effort is made to source our ingredients from local producers. Our eggs come from our own small flock of chickens. They have a large grassy run with several trees and bushes and a small stream running along its length. As we are not a commercial egg producer, our eggs do not have the lion mark, and so cannot be guaranteed free of salmonella. If you have concerns about this, please let us know and we will ensure that the yolks are thoroughly cooked to remove this minute risk.
